What Is Real Education?
Many people confuse real education with knowledge. In many places, real education is more about elimination. Among ten thousand candidates, the cream layer selects itself, and they make it to the top.
Only those who will survive this rat race are considered smart. This is a flawed view of what exists in many countries.
However, there is much more to real education than just attending school, passing exams, attending university, and getting a degree.
Real education goes beyond memorization to develop critical thinking, creativity, empathy, and lifelong learning. It gives people the tools they need to face problems and contribute significantly to society.
Education is a holistic process. It’s not just about gaining practical knowledge. It is also about equipping ourselves to use our intelligence and capabilities to face real-life situations.
The real education prepares us for life. It motivates us to learn, cultivate, and develop human values for life.

a holistic process of equipping ourselves with life skills
Education has six aspects:
1) Information:
Often, we think information is education, but it is only one aspect of it.
2) Concepts:
Concepts are the basis for all reasons. It would be best if you conceived to create.
3) Attitude:
An integral aspect of education is cultivating the right attitude. A proper attitude at the right time and place determines your actions and behavior.
4) Imagination–
Imagination is essential for creativity in the arts. But if you get stuck only in your imagination, you can become psychotic.
5) Discipline–
A student is called a disciple because he follows discipline. Discipline is essential for streaming energy, studying, and progress.
6) Freedom–
Freedom is your very nature. Only with freedom do joy, generosity, and other human values blossom. Without freedom, attitude becomes stifling, concepts become burdens, information has no value, and imagination becomes stagnant.
Real education develops life skills.
You need skills to manage your thoughts and emotions to live effectively and efficiently. It does not mean that there will never be any problems. But you will come out safely if you are equipped with the skills to manage your mind. It not only imports knowledge but also wisdom. Only wisdom takes us ahead in life. It helps nurture our minds with enriched emotions and a sharpened intellect.
“If you can win over your mind,
you can win over the whole world.”
His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
